I am a teacher and teacher-leader at the F.W. Parker Charter Essential School. I work mainly with students in 9th and 10th grades in their Arts and Humanities class, but also teach "7th Seminar,"a study skills and introduction to Parker class for 7th graders.

I work with our school's legislative branch of the student government, the Community Congress ("CC"). It is this role that brings me and my students to Fall Forum this year - we will be presenting about student government at Parker and are especially excited to help other schools - both student in student government and teaches who work with them - to examine and think about dilemmas facing them in their work toward democracy and equity.

I also facilitate the adult work of all the 9th and 10th grade teachers, leading them in CFG-style work, Kid Talk, and logistical planning.
